My cold is about to go away, and it is getting spring-ish weather outside. So I took my phototaking machine and took photos of these birds (and some more to come):

There's a tree just outside our bedroom, being living room to this blackbird:

Now that we installed some fat blocks, the tree became a diner for blue tits:

Some days ago we celebrated Mr. Nephew's first birthday. Here's one of his presents:

Today we see some HDR photographs of the Max von Laue-Halle, as the formerly Gebäude 47c was baptised just recently by Mrs Merkel.

For John Miao's experiment at our set-up at PETRA III, we have to prepare a very clean x-ray beam.
