Visiting Dectris in Baden
On my way to the
European Synchrotron Radiation
Facility in Grenoble, where we started an experiment today, I stopped by
in Baden, Switzerland, and visited
Dectris, manufacturer of great single photon
counting pixel detectors like the Pilatus and the new Eiger. It was a great
experience seeing their labs and workflow that lead to the leading detectors
of that kind.
